Some stores are just loaded with deals. If you’ve never heard of Swedish giant Ikea, you’re missing out. Bonus? They have numerous store locations right here in the U.S. While it’s definitely one of those places you’ll need to “keep yourself in check” for, there really are some great deals to be had. Here are a few of my favorites.

I'm scratching my head on this one folks. It may be a little premature to say I've found the "deal of the year" on January 1st, but I can't see anyone topping this for a while. It's possible it's a typo, or a glitch, or incredible good will on the part of See's, but they're currently offering a massive 4lb box of holiday chocolates for the paltry sum of $1...and it's FREE 3-day select shipping, too!

We’ve been hearing a lot about how you can save money by shopping at Walgreens lately. Walgreens is again offering a unique and potentially very valuable rebate, when you purchase from a select list of Wyeth items, that can be used on spa services!

A quick deal for you everyone. I'm not sure how bad or good your bowling is, but mine is rotten. I don't blame the balls, I blame myself for not doing it often enough. Oh, and I'm a Brit. But anyway, this deal is for those of you who don't care about getting a stellar ball but would like a nice beginner's ball all of your own for free.

It's Friday, it's time for another deal. I must preface this by saying I'm not really a huge fan of the XBox 360, not because it's a bad console but I'm no fan of the reliability right now. However, if you are in the market for a HDTV & gaming system, Best Buy is giving you a stellar deal. You'll save over $400, which is like getting the XBox 360 for free.

Ok, there's not really much that I can say to top this one. After the amazing work that Kipkay did over at Metacafe, the folks at gagfilms have gone one better. They've discovered not 10 or even 20 but 32 AA batteries inside one standard 6v battery.Yup, I'm floored.

It's not often a deal of this magnitude comes along, so grab it while you can folks. Right now (for a limited time, but I don't know how long...sorry) ShopNBC accepts a coupon that takes $30 off a minmium purchase of $30. Basically, it's $30 for free. Gratis. Nada.
The only stipulation I can find is that the $30 has to be spent on one item, not a bunch of items that add up to $30. No problem for me though, there's plenty on ShopNBC that I can pick up for just a little more than that price, making the item almost free.

Here in Colorado the average temperature around midday is now above 90 degrees...every day. Pah, say you folks in Arizona. But for me, it's way too hot for comfort. So I tracked down some stellar bargains to help me (and of course, you) keep cool as the summer continues.
As with most deals, I can't guarantee when they'll expire. So, get 'em while you can.

I don't like to see good stores close. Especially an Aladdin's cave like The Discovery Store, which offers great educational toys and videos and is just a pleasure to walk around on a Saturday afternoon.
